Job summary

Sysmex America, Inc. is seeking a Specialist I, Clinical Applications to support hematology instruments and middleware across multiple US sites. You will train customers, troubleshoot, and provide technical leadership from order to go-live in laboratories.

The role requires strong communication skills, LIN/COLA knowledge, and the ability to work across IT and lab teams. Extensive travel (up to 80%) is expected, with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or related field.
• Active ASCP or CLS certification required.
• Supervisory experience highly desirable.
• Experience with LIS, HIS or WAM preferred.
• Solid CLIA/COLA knowledge and compliance experience.
• Strong Hematology experience preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Highly visible, professional conduct under stress.
• Strong presentation and persuasive skills desirable.
• Ability to analyze, problem-solve and evaluate technical/IT data.
• Experience executing complex single/multi-site integration activities.

Responsibilities

• Implement Sysmex instruments, middleware and reagents at customer sites and manage the integration process.
• Provide on-site training and support to realize efficient customer workflows.
• Serve as technical consultant to customers and support sales objectives.
• Deliver advanced trainings and workshops; troubleshoot performance issues.
• Manage assets and expenses within company guidelines.
• Provide pre-sale and post-sale technical presentations and demonstrations.
• Travel extensively to support customers and projects.
