Job summary

Sysmex America, Inc. is hiring a Clinical Applications Specialist I to support laboratory integration from order to go-live, train customers, and serve as a technical consultant.

This role requires strong Hematology background and IT experience, with on-site and remote collaboration across multiple regions. The successful candidate will implement instruments, troubleshoot performance issues, and deliver workshops while traveling extensively (up to 75%+).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years experience OR Associate's degree with Medical Technologist/MLT and 10+ years hematology experience.
• Active ASCP or CLS certification required.
• Supervisory experience highly desirable.
• Experience with LIS, HIS or WAM preferred.
• Strong Hematology experience required; strong written and oral communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement Sysmex instruments, middleware and reagents at customer sites with planned timelines.
• Troubleshoot reagent, middleware or instrument performance issues to improve customer self-sufficiency.
• Develop and deliver training programs for customers and Technical Services.
• Manage time, territory and accounts, document activity, and support sales objectives.
• Provide technical information to management and peers; support sales objectives.
• Demonstrate urgency, strong communication, and goal orientation.
• Provide pre-sale and post-sale support including technical presentations and demos.
• Manage company assets and expenses in line with guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
