Vail Health is seeking a Clinic Scheduler to handle scheduling, inquiry responses, and message distribution. The role involves coordinating patients, providers, locations, and payers, and ensuring accurate demographic and insurance information is captured.

Competenze

• Two years of administrative or related experience preferred.
• Previous medical office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA/OSHA rules preferred.

Mansioni

• Schedules medical appointments coordinating patients, providers, locations and payers.
• Receives and initiates calls to and from patients and providers per scheduling procedures.
• Uses EHR scheduling software to schedule appointments and tests.
• Obtains patient demographics and insurance information accurately.
• Manages electronic requests via drop box and patient portals.
• Distributes faxes and manages needed requests.
• Upholds Just Culture and organizational values; HIPAA compliant.
