Vail Health in Colorado is seeking a Clinic Scheduler to handle incoming calls, field scheduling questions with providers, direct calls, and schedule patient appointments. The role requires HIPAA compliance and familiarity with EHR scheduling software.

The PRN (POOL) position offers Wellbeing reimbursement funds and 403(b) contribution eligibility. Colorado-based posting with potential remote opportunities in listed states.

Formación

• 2 years of administrative or similar experience preferred.
• Previous medical office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA compliance and OSHA rules and regulations preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Schedules medical appointments through coordination of patients, providers, locations, payers, etc.
• Receives and initiates calls to and from patients and providers while following scheduling procedures.
• Appropriately schedules appointments, tests and procedures using the EHR scheduling software.
• Promptly answers incoming calls and schedules patient appointments.
• Obtains patient demographics including address, phone, and insurance information.
• Manages electronic requests through drop box and patient portals to schedule appointments.
• Distributes faxes and helps manage requests.
• Models Just Culture and Organizational Values, HIPAA compliant.
