The MercyOne Health System is seeking a Clinic Receptionist to greet patients and visitors, manage front desk operations, and ensure smooth patient flow at the clinic. You will check in patients, collect copays, validate insurance, and enter demographics into the electronic health record with accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within three (3) months of hire.
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population serve within three (3) months of hire.
• Ability to read, write and understand English and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and colleagues.
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality with patient information.
• Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and caring aligned with Trinity Health values.

Responsabilidades

• Performs patient check-in and ensures admitting process is efficient and compliant with clinic and regulatory policies.
• Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately.
• Schedule appointments according to office guidelines.
• Obtain accurate patient and insurance information, collecting copays and deductibles.
• Copy/scan patient materials into the electronic medical record.
