MercyOne Medical Group is seeking a Clinic Receptionist to greet patients, manage front desk operations, and ensure efficient patient flow. The role involves scheduling, phone handling, insurance verification, and accurate data entry into the Electronic Health Record system.

The position requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and adherence to confidentiality policies. A high school diploma and BLS certification are required or obtained within three months of hire.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within three months of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training completed within three months of hire.
• Ability to read, write and understand English; communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.
• Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and caring aligned with mission and values.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and check in patients and visitors.
• Manage front desk to maintain patient flow and schedule appointments.
• Handle phone calls and direct them appropriately.
• Validate insurance eligibility and collect copays/deductibles at visit.
• Enter demographics and insurance data into the EHR and other systems.
• Copy/scan patient materials into the EMR.
