MercyOne Health System is seeking a Clinic Receptionist to greet patients and visitors, manage front desk duties, schedule appointments, handle calls, verify insurance, and enter patient demographics into the EHR. This full-time, day-shift role supports patient flow and confidentiality in a Silvis, IL clinic.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider within three months of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training within three months of hire.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English and communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.
• Professional presence reflecting honesty, integrity, and compassion.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and visitors and manage check-in efficiently.
• Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate extensions.
• Schedule appointments according to office guidelines.
• Obtain patient and insurance information, collecting copays and deductibles.
• Enter demographics and insurance data into the EHR and related systems.
• Determine and collect time-of-service payments and/or past-due balances.
