CareNow, part of HCA Healthcare, invites you to join as a Clinic Coordinator in a role that supports front office and clinical staff with short- and long-term planning, patient preparation, billing accuracy, and service excellence. The position emphasizes staffing, workflow guidelines, and hands-on coordination in a busy medical office.

The ideal candidate will hold a medical assisting credential, with a preference for additional health-care office management coursework and at least five years

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized training facility for medical assistants, and course-work in health care office management are preferred.
• Five years of clinical experience in a medical office setting is required.
• RMA, CMA or LPN certificate is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist front office and clinical staff in developing and implementing short and long-term work plans and objectives.
• Oversee the process to prepare patients for examination and treatment.
• Screen telephone calls for referral to physicians.
• Develop guidelines for prioritizing work activities, evaluating effectiveness, and modifying activities as necessary to ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained.
• Assist with scheduling of tests and treatment.
• Ensure office and clinical supply inventory is current, mail is opened and processed, offices are opened and closed according to established procedures.
• Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of patient charge entry into the billing system.
• Assist front office staff with ensuring point-of-service collections are made when applicable.
