Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in billing, patient registration and scheduling, medical insurance verification, insurance screening.
• Typing 35 words per minute minimum.
• Computer knowledge and Microsoft Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients using the department scheduling system and register them professionally.
• Collect and verify demographic and insurance information; update systems accordingly.
• Notify and counsel parents on referrals, co-payments, and payment options.
• Respond to patient portal requests and maintain accurate records.
• Support cash collection and billing preparation, including authorizations as needed.
• Provide general office support and maintain a clean, organized reception area.
• Floating to other clinics or ROCs for coverage as required.
