Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Climbing Lead to drive the climb department within the in-store rock wall experience. You will outfit customers, train teammates, and ensure exceptional service, safety, and product knowledge across all climbing activities.

You will supervise sessions, guide safety protocols, and collaborate with store leadership to meet department goals and company standards.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Prior retail sales experience or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Climbing certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the climb department operations and training for teammates.
• Monitor climbing activities and assist climbers.
• Direct the workflow and supervise daily operations of the climb department.
• Drive high levels of customer service within the department.
• Ensure safety and compliance with company SOPs for the climbing area.
• Assist in opening/closing the store and Front End duties as needed.
