Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Climbing Lead to spearhead our in-store climb department, outfit customers, and activate the rock wall experience. You will drive engagement, training, and educational programs for customers and teammates in all climbing aspects.

Responsibilities include supervising climb sessions, enforcing safety standards, and coordinating scheduling and merchandise presentation while supporting store management and ensuring exceptional customer service across the department.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior retail sales or customer-focused experience.
• Climbing certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the climb department and train teammates.
• Supervise climb sessions and uphold safety standards.
• Direct daily operations and assist store management.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and stock levels.
• Assist with opening/closing and Front End functions.
• Coordinate department scheduling and guide assignments.
