Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Climbing Lead to drive our in-store rock wall experience and lead the climb department. You will outfit customers and activate climbing programs while training teammates and ensuring top-tier service.

You will supervise sessions, enforce safety standards, manage scheduling, and deliver instructional lessons for climbers of all ages, aligning with company standards and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability - nights, weekends, holidays.
• Retail or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Climbing certification required.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Drive execution of the climb department and activation of the rock wall experience.
• Provide consultation and guidance with product knowledge to customers and teammates.
• Instruct climbing techniques for climbers of all ages and skill levels; teach lessons as needed.
• Supervise climb sessions and ensure safety standards.
• Assist with scheduling, floor sets, and general supervision per store policies.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and channel communications for initiatives.
• Collaborate with management to train associates and share feedback on projects.
