Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Climbing Lead to bring passion and expertise in climbing to the retail climb department. You will outfit customers and activate the in-store rock wall experience while driving engagement and training for teammates.

You will supervise climb sessions, ensure safety, and maintain high customer service standards. This role also supports scheduling and coordination with store leadership as needed.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability including nights, weekend, and holidays.
• Prior retail sales experience or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Climbing certification required.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old to comply with labor laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead the climbing department execution and activation of the in-store rock wall experience.
• Drive engagement, training and educational programs for customers and teammates.
• Supervise climb sessions and monitor activities to ensure safety and standards.
• Provide consultative advice with strong product knowledge.
• Assist with department scheduling and store operations as needed.
