DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Climbing Lead to manage our retail climbing department and rock wall activation. You will outfit customers, drive engagement, and train teammates in climbing operations while upholding company standards.

In this role you will monitor activities, supervise sessions, and ensure safe, engaging experiences for climbers of all ages. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability - including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Prior retail sales experience or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Climbing certification required.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old to comply with labor laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead the climbing department operations and ensure safety protocols.
• Instruct climbing techniques for customers of all ages and experience levels.
• supervise climb sessions and manage daily workflow in the rock wall area.
• Deliver consultative product knowledge and exceptional customer service.
• Assist in merchandising, training teammates, and upholding company standards.
