Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is hiring a Climbing Lead for our House of Sport climb department. You will outfit customers and activate our in-store rock wall experience while driving engagement and training for teammates.

You will supervise climb sessions, teach techniques to climbers of all levels, and ensure safety standards are followed. Workflows, scheduling, and merchandising support will be coordinated with store leadership.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Climbing certification required.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead the climbing department operations and staff.
• Instruct climbing techniques and supervise sessions.
• Provide consultative product knowledge to customers.
• Maintain safety and PPE standards and ensure rock wall safety.
• Assist with scheduling, merchandising, and store initiatives.
