  • Answers telephones and routes calls as needed.

  • Interviews applicants to collect personal and financial data.
  • Collects required supporting documentation from clients.
  • Maintains organized and confidential client files.
  • Calculates level of assistance using a computerized formula.
  • Notifies applicants of program eligibility in person or by mail.
  • Provides referrals to other social and community services.
  • Outreach to inform individuals and groups about program services.
  • Assists in data entry and uses standard MS Office tools.
