Job summary

Opportunity Council in Whatcom County, WA, seeks an Energy Services Support Coordinator to manage daily operations of the Energy Assistance programs and lead the program team.

The role includes onboarding and ongoing staff training, ensuring program delivery, compliance with federal/state guidelines, and strong recordkeeping. Monday–Friday, 8am–4:30pm, with a full benefits package and opportunity to impact low-income families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in human services or related field or equivalent education/experience.
• Two years of experience related to direct client services in a diverse cultural environment or equivalent setting.
• Valid Washington State driver’s license with five-year driving history per Opportunity Council standards.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and supervision for the Energy Assistance team including onboarding, training and development, service delivery oversight, and programmatic support.
• Oversees energy assistance program delivery, client processing, and compliance with eligibility and funder requirements.
• Maintains knowledge of eligibility guidelines and procedures for energy assistance services.
• Manages files and data with confidentiality and proper recordkeeping.
• Performs data quality reviews and assists clients with application steps and information.
