Job summary

Microbac Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Customer Relationship Associate to act as a front-line contact, receiving and processing samples for timely analysis. The role requires high client interaction, data entry, and coordination across cross-functional teams in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities include understanding client needs, managing project logistics, and relaying technical data to leadership and clients, while maintaining sample integrity and timely deliverables.

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or related field.
• Food and/or Environmental Testing Laboratory experience strongly desired.
• Client service or QA experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with lab staff and non-technical individuals.
• Exceptional ability to work with others to troubleshoot and delegate tasks.
• Familiarity with FDA and EPA regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and lead projects.

Responsibilities

• Understand client needs; liaise between the client, CRM team, and laboratory staff; troubleshoot issues.
• Manage logistics of client projects to meet needs in a timely, cost-effective manner; ensure quality standards.
• Receive and process samples; triage and prioritize based on requirements.
• Store and organize all incoming samples; maintain retention and storage.
• Coordinate communications between internal departments/functions.
• Monitor progress of projects and delegate tasks as needed.
• Communicate technical data to leadership and clients; identify new service opportunities.
