Job summary

Microbac Laboratories, Inc. in Arcata, CA is seeking a Customer Relationship Associate to receive and process samples and coordinate with laboratory personnel for timely analysis. This role emphasizes strong client interaction, accurate data entry, and effective communication of technical information to non-technical clients.

You will liaise with account management and lab staff, triage samples, and help ensure on-time deliverables while maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or a related field of study.
• Environmental Testing Laboratory Experience is strongly desired.
• Client service or QA experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both laboratory staff and non-technical individuals.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively plan, organize and lead projects.
• Familiarity with regulatory testing requirements within the industry (i.e.; FDA; EPA).
• Ability to demonstrate an observable commitment to service excellence and brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process samples and relay them to lab personnel for timely analysis.
• Coordinate with client relationship account management and laboratory staff to troubleshoot and prevent issues.
• Triaging and prioritizing samples based on analysis requirements.
• Store and organize all incoming samples and maintain sample retention.
• Communicate technical data to senior leadership and clients.
• Coordinate communications between internal departments to ensure timely deliverables.
