Job summary

Microbac Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Customer Relationship Associate for a full-time role in Long Beach, CA. You will be the frontline contact to receive and process samples and coordinate with laboratory staff to ensure timely analysis and accurate test results.

The position requires heavy client interaction, data entry and cross-functional collaboration in a deadline-driven environment, with a focus on service excellence and growing client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Degree in FoodScience, Chemistry, or a related field of study.
• Food and/or Environmental Testing Laboratory Experience is strongly desired.
• Client service or QA experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both laboratory staff and non-technical individuals.
• Familiarity with the regulatory testing requirements within the industry (e.g.; FDA; EPA).

Responsibilities

• Gain an understanding of client needs; liaise between client, account management, and lab staff; troubleshoot to prevent issues.
• Manage logistics of client projects to meet needs timely and cost-effectively.
• Receive and process samples; triage and prioritize based on requirements.
• Store and organize all incoming samples; maintain sample retention and storage.
• Coordinate communications between internal departments/functions and monitor project progress.
