Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Relationship Banker to represent our brand in a Chase Branch and deliver welcoming, knowledgeable service to clients. You will acquire, manage, and retain client relationships using financial solutions and technology to meet needs.

The role requires licensing (SIE, Series 6, state registrations) within 180 days and availability for weekend/evening hours. A strong focus on compliance and customer experience drives success in this position.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking or Financial Services with proven success in establishing new clients.
• Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
• Ability to quickly and effectively resolve client issues with attention to detail.
• Operate within established risk parameters/tolerances and meet risk and compliance obligations, including completion of required training.
• High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
• The SIE exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements. All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses through JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire, study materials and support provided.
• Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings.

Responsibilities

• Put clients first and exceed their expectations - deliver attentive and friendly service, creating a welcoming environment.
• Manage assigned clients and proactively meet with them, both in person and over the phone, to build lasting relationships, understand financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.
• Engage in clear, polite, consultative communication to understand and help clients, building trust – ask questions and listen to understand, anticipate their needs.
• Educate and connect clients to technology solutions such as leveraging the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs to help them with their banking needs whenever, wherever, and however they want.
• Learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately to effectively consult with clients about banking solutions, as well as collaborate with and connect them to our team of experts to help with specialized financial needs.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
