Job summary

Republic Services Associate Account Manager is responsible for proactively maintaining and retaining relationships with existing customers in an assigned territory for permanent commercial and industrial waste services. The role involves outbound calls and handling inbound inquiries to keep business and expand penetration with the full range of Republic Services products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 0–2 years of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Proactively maintains and retains existing customers on a daily basis.
• Develops and maintains knowledge of services, pricing, and offers additional services to assigned customers.
• Performs contractual re-signs to extend relationships and profitability.
• Responds to cancellation requests per escalation policy.
• Communicates pricing initiatives to customers.
• Utilizes Salesforce daily to document activities such as calls, meetings, and proposals.
• Captures customer emails and minimizes rate restrictions and credits.
• Increases customer penetration by selling the full Republic Services product suite.
• Meets weekly with Sales Manager to review retention activities and key relationships.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
