Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an Associate Account Manager to proactively maintain and retain relationships with existing commercial and industrial customers in an assigned territory. You will make outbound and handle inbound calls to preserve and grow our waste services portfolio.

You will gain deep knowledge of services, pricing, and offers, document activities in Salesforce, and collaborate with the Sales Manager to review progress and opportunities for additional penetration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0-2 years of customer service experience required.
• Preferred experience in waste or transportation industry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and retain existing customers by proactively reaching out daily.
• Develop knowledge of services, pricing, and offers to existing customers.
• Perform contractual re-signs to extend relationships and profitability.
• Respond to cancellation requests following escalation policy.
• Document activities in Salesforce and manage communications with customers.
