Job summary

BrightView Landscapes in Fresno, CA seeks an Associate Account Manager to serve as the primary contact for BrightView clients and to maintain long-term relationships, focusing on client retention and ancillary sales. You will work with clients within the Senior Account Manager’s portfolio.

Responsibilities include developing relationships, conducting site walkthroughs, facilitating issue resolution, pursuing upsell opportunities, and ensuring renewals while maintaining gross margins.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent customer-focused experience.
• 1 year of supervisory experience in landscape or service industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers
• Conduct regular site walkthroughs with clients to ensure quality and service expectations are met
• Lead and facilitate or assist in the resolution of customer problems or concerns
• Proactively present site enhancement ideas to existing customers
• Ensure renewals of each assigned account within the customer portfolio
• Identify and pursue opportunities to sell ancillary services
• Generate referrals from existing client base and communicate with Business Developer
• Develop accurate estimates and takeoffs for both new and existing clients as needed
• Manage service delivery to the specified scope of work
• Ensure branch financial goals are met by maintaining acceptable gross margins for both base contract work and ancillary services
• Participate in branch meetings and assist the Senior Account Manager in overall leadership of the client service team
• Maintain satisfactory accounts receivable levels
• Coordinate with the Branch Administrator to ensure branch databases are consistently updated with current client information
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Branch Manager

Education

Business degree or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s)

1 year supervisory experience in landscape or service industry
