Job summary

BrightView is seeking an Associate Account Manager to serve as the primary contact for clients and to maintain long-term relationships while growing ancillary sales. This field-based role works with clients in the portfolio of the Senior Account Manager, focusing on retention and revenue opportunities.

You will conduct site walkthroughs, present site enhancements, and ensure contract renewals, while coordinating with the branch team to meet gross margins and service scope.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of supervisory experience in the landscape or service industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
• Conduct regular site walkthroughs with clients to ensure quality and service expectations are met (land and/or snow).
• Lead and facilitate or assist in the resolution of customer problems or concerns (land and/or snow).
• Proactively present site enhancement ideas to existing customers.
• Ensure renewals of each assigned account within the customer portfolio.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to sell ancillary services.
• Generate referrals from existing client base and communicate with Business Developer.
• Develop accurate estimates and takeoffs for both new and existing clients as needed.
• Manage service delivery to the specified scope of work (land and/or snow).
• Ensure branch financial goals are met by maintaining acceptable gross margins for both base contract work and ancillary (enhancement) services.
• Participate in branch meetings and assist the Senior Account Manager in overall leadership of the client service team.
• Maintain satisfactory accounts receivable levels (land and/or snow).
• Coordinate with the Branch Administrator to ensure branch databases are consistently updated with current client information.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Branch Manager.
