Job summary

Cox Automotive in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Account Operations Specialist II to act as the primary contact for resolving client issues across accounts and to coordinate vehicle reconditioning with auction departments for timely completion.

You will build strong client relationships, review vehicle conditions, prepare reconditioning estimates, and educate clients on auction processes while recommending Cox and Manheim products as appropriate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years of related experience; or higher level degree with 5 years of experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to build strong client relationships.
• Strong problem solving and de‑escalation skills; excellent verbal and written communication.
• Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision; strong organizational abilities.
• Preferred: experience in vehicle reconditioning or auto industry knowledge; Salesforce/AS400/Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving client issues on accounts, from simple to complex.
• Provide prompt customer service for inquiries about vehicle condition and discrepancies.
• Coordinate sale vehicle run processes and communicate with auction departments for timely reconditioning.
• Build positive client relationships, examine vehicles for standards, and complete reconditioning estimates.
• Conduct condition reports and imaging audits to minimize policy loss and goodwill expenses.
• Educate clients on auction processes and upsell Cox/Manheim products as appropriate.
• Maintain adherence to Cox guidelines regarding reconditioning quality and accuracy per SLA.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and internal platforms; comply with safety procedures and participate in Safety Excellence.
• Perform any other duties assigned.
