Job summary

Cox Enterprises seeks an attentive Auction Operations Coordinator to act as the main contact for client issues across accounts, working with auction teams and stakeholders to ensure timely resolutions and exceptional service. You will manage vehicle condition inquiries, coordinate reconditioning services, and document processes clearly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3 years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination with 1 year for higher education, or 5 years of related experience.
• Requires valid driver’s license.
• Must have physical ability and mental acuity to meet duties within required timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for resolving client issues for accounts of varying complexity, collaborating with auction teams and stakeholders.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries related to vehicle condition and discrepancies; foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate sale vehicle run processes and communicate with auction departments to ensure inventory movement and timely reconditioning services.
• Examine vehicles for standards and quality, prepare reconditioning estimates, and document condition reports and imaging audits to minimize policy loss and goodwill costs.
• Demonstrate knowledge of vehicle inspection processes and condition report data to identify prior repairs and issues.
• Educate clients on auction processes and upsell Cox/CAI products and services based on client needs.
