Job summary

Cox Automotive - USA is seeking an Account Operations Specialist II to serve as the primary contact for resolving client issues across accounts, with a strong focus on vehicle condition and reconditioning coordination. This role combines fieldwork and in-office tasks in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle client inquiries, coordinate reconditioning services, and work with auction teams to ensure timely inventory movement while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 70% outside work and 30% in-office administrative duties.
• Requires High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ related experience or 5 years’ related experience.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Resolve client issues for accounts ranging from simple to complex in collaboration with auction teams and stakeholders.
• Provide exceptional customer service addressing inquiries about vehicle condition and discrepancies; build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate sale vehicle run processes and maintain communication with auction departments for movement of client inventory and timely reconditioning.
• Prepare estimates for reconditioning services to improve vehicle value and coordinate approvals for such services.
• Demonstrate knowledge of vehicle condition reports and inspection processes to identify repairs (paint, body work, frame damage, etc.).
• Educate clients on auction processes and upsell Cox Automotive products and services based on client needs.
• Maintain adherence to Cox standards and safety policies; participate in safety initiatives.
