Job summary

Q2 is seeking an Implementation Engineer to lead the technical build and delivery of Centrix Risk & Fraud Management solutions. You will configure integrations between Q2 platforms and external systems, including online banking apps and core processing systems, often in Azure-hosted environments.

You will act as the Centrix product expert on each project, learning client operations, recommending best practices, and coordinating with Project Managers, Sales, Product, Engineering, and Hosting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field is required.
• 5+ years of project management or financial services experience, with a consultative background.
• Familiarity with enterprise software deployment architecture and methodologies.
• Knowledge of effective business requirements practices and support methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to interface with technical teams and senior management.
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time; fluent English communication is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess project risks and develop mitigating strategies.
• Train others in best practices and execution.
• Lead on-site activities and guide teams through key milestones.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architect and Development to ensure feasibility of solutions.
• Manage client expectations and align sponsors on timing and go-live requirements.
• Mentor PMs and training resources in product expertise and process improvement.
• Support case management and timely issue resolution by leading reviews.
• Serve as subject matter expert on product features and functionality.
• Help build requirements and design solutions based on client outcomes.
• Analyze client businesses and recommend improvements; ensure security and privacy controls are followed.
