VCA Premier Animal Hospital & Pet Resort in Cedar Park is seeking a Client Service Representative to be the heart of the client experience. You’ll welcome clients, schedule appointments, explain services and fees, and help maintain records with care.

This role requires at least one year of customer service, a love for people and pets, strong communication, and the ability to stay calm in a fast-paced setting. Weekend availability and computer familiarity are important.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service experience (veterinary/medical preferred, not required).
• A genuine love for people and pets.
• Strong communication, listening, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stay calm and professional in a fast-paced or emotional environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfort with computers and learning new systems.
• Flexibility to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients warmly and ensure a smooth, stress-free visit from check-in to checkout.
• Answer phones with confidence and empathy while scheduling and confirming appointments.
• Clearly explain services, recommendations, and fees so clients feel informed and comfortable.
• Accurately process payments, maintain records, and manage communications.
• Educate pet owners on services, products, and preventative care.
• Follow up with clients and connect with prospective pet parents in a proactive, caring way.
