Job summary

VCA Animal Hospitals is seeking a Client Service Representative to be the welcoming face at the front desk. You will greet clients and their pets, schedule appointments, process payments, and provide product and service information.

The role supports clinical teams by managing medical records and ensuring a clean, safe hospital environment. Prior client-facing experience and a compassionate, professional demeanor are essential.

Qualifications

• Education – Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience – 1-2 years in a client-facing role, preferably in veterinary/healthcare/customer service.
• Familiarity with veterinary terminology, medical records management, and prescription handling is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets, answer phones, and direct to exam rooms.
• Schedule, confirm, and coordinate appointments; manage the calendar.
• Present and explain fees; process payments and billing inquiries.
• Recommend products/services and educate clients on options.
• Manage medical records and maintain confidentiality.
• Maintain a clean, safe, inviting hospital environment.
