Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospitals is seeking a Client Service Coordinator to drive the flow of clients and pets, maximize team productivity, and ensure effective communication with clients and associates. The role focuses on welcoming, educating, and coordinating care to support wellness plans and veterinary services.

The position requires strong client service skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced hospital environment, with opportunities for growth and valuable team collaboration.

Qualifications

• The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent and preferably a year of customer-service experience.
• Experience or training in medical terminology is a plus.
• Familiarity with veterinary or medical environments is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify the Five Principles within self and team.
• Recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and directing flow of clients and pets to ensure superior client care.
• Maximize the number of pets seen by the hospital team through a productive hospital operation.
• Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service, welcoming clients and pets.
• Educate clients about wellness plans, preventative care and hospital services.
• Assist incoming clients with documentation, enter pet information and history, and ensure prompt service.
• Assist outgoing clients by providing instructions, invoices, dispensing prescriptions, selling retail items and scheduling appointments.
• Manage finances by maintaining accurate balances and following opening and closing procedures.
• Conduct administrative functions as necessary and perform other duties as assigned.
