Class A CDL OTR High Mile Drivers

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years! Our 200 company drivers keep families supplied with essential household goods. We operate safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern amenities, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team. We are strong. Together we can get things done.

Equipment

- 2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks. Features include ergonomically designed seats, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletop, larger refrigerators, auxiliary power units with 3500W inverter, dual antennas, flat screen TV mount, satellite radios, right way scales, and Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges. Maintenance is supported by an on-site repair facility and wash bay.

Pay

- Starting pay ranges from .55cpm to .58cpm, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional pay for detention, layovers, and other factors. Average weekly earnings between $2,600 and $3,200. Paid weekly via direct deposit with no hold.

Home Time

- Drivers get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days within our operating area. Some drivers may stay out longer and receive up to 4 days off. Home time is agreed upon prior to hiring and can be adjusted for special events or appointments.

Loads & Routes

- 98% of freight originates in Missouri. Over half is drop and hook; the rest is 1 pick-1 drop. Mainly dry van and reefer loads, mostly in the US middle corridor, avoiding NY City, ports, borders, and west of Denver. No dedicated routes, with major highway transportation and Pilot/Flying J fueling points.

Rider & Canine Policies

- Riders: 1 passenger aged 12 or older, available from day 1.

- Canine: $500 fee per pet, up to 2 small or 1 large dog, with weekly deductions until paid, non-refundable once placed. No policy for cats, reptiles, or birds.
