Class A CDL OTR High Mile Drivers

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years. We have 200 company drivers who keep families supplied with essential household goods. We operate safe Volvo tractors with all the latest features, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team. We are strong. Together we can get things done.

Equipment

2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks. Features include ergonomic seats, perfectly positioned steering, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletop, large built-in refrigerators, auxiliary power units with 3500W inverters, dual antennas, flat-screen TV mounts, satellite radios, right way scales, Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges. On-site repair facilities and wash bays are available.

Pay

Starting pay is .55cpm - .58cpm, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional compensation for detention, layovers, and other factors. Average weekly pay ranges from $2,600 to $3,200, paid weekly via direct deposit. You work this week, you get paid next week. No holds.

Home Time

Drivers get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days within our running area. Some areas may allow longer periods out with up to 4 days off. Home time is agreed upon in writing before hiring and will be honored. Drivers can notify dispatch of home time needs. Special events and appointments can be accommodated with additional days off.

Loads & Routes

98% of freight originates in Missouri. Over 55% is drop and hook. The rest involves 1 pick-1 drop loads. We operate dry van (palletized) and reefer (climate-controlled) trailers. Most freight is in the central US corridor; no New York City, no force dispatch west of Denver, no ports or borders. Freight is primarily on major highways, mostly contracted. No dedicated routes. Fueling at Pilot/Flying J stations.

Rider Policy

One passenger aged 12 or older, available from day one.

Canine Policy

$500 fee per pet. Can accommodate two small dogs or one large dog. Deduction of $100 weekly until paid. Policy is non-refundable after placement. Allows for a change of canine. No policies for cats, reptiles, or birds.
