Class A CDL OTR High Mile Drivers

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years. Our 200 company drivers keep families supplied with essential household goods. We use safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern features, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team. We are strong. Together we can get things done.

Equipment

- 2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks. Features include ergonomic seats, perfect steering, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletop, large built-in refrigerator, auxiliary power units (manual power inverter with 3500W), dual antennas, flat screen TV mount, satellite radios, right way scales, Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges. On-site repair facility and wash bay are available.

Pay

- Starting at .55cpm - .58cpm, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional pay for detention, layover, and other factors. Average weekly pay ranges from $2,600 to $3,200. Paid weekly via direct deposit. No holdbacks.

Home Time

- Drivers typically get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days in our area. Some may stay out longer and receive up to 4 days off. Home time is agreed upon prior to hiring and will be documented. Drivers can request home time needs with dispatch. We try to accommodate special events and appointments.

Loads & Routes

- 98% of freight originates in Missouri. Over 55% is drop and hook. The rest involves 1 pick-1 drop loads. We operate dry van and reefer trailers, mostly in the middle US corridor. No NY City, no force dispatch west of Denver, no ports or borders. Most freight is on major highways, with contracted loads and no dedicated routes. Fueling at Pilot/Flying J stations.

Rider Policy

- One passenger aged 12 or older, available from day one.

Canine Policy

- $500 fee per pet. Up to 2 small dogs or 1 large dog. Deduction of $100 weekly until paid off. Policy is non-refundable once the pet is placed in the truck. No policies for cats, reptiles, or birds.
