Class A CDL OTR High Mile Drivers

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years. We have 200 company drivers who keep families across America supplied with essential household goods. Our fleet consists of safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern amenities, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team. We are strong. Equipment

2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks with ergonomic seats, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletop, large built-in refrigerators, auxiliary power units with 3500W inverter, dual antennas, flat screen TV mounts, satellite radios, right way scales, Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges. On-site repair facility and wash bay available.

Pay

Starting pay ranges from .55cpm to .58cpm, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional compensation for detention, layovers, and other factors. Average weekly pay between $2600 and $3200. Paid weekly via direct deposit. No holdbacks.

Home Time

Drivers typically get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days within our running area. Some areas may offer additional drive-through days or longer periods off for outlying areas. Home time is agreed upon in writing prior to hiring and will be honored. Drivers can notify dispatch of special needs or appointments.

Loads & Routes

Most freight (98%) originates in Missouri, with over 55% being drop and hook. The rest involves 1 pick-1 drop loads. Routes primarily in the US middle corridor, avoiding NYC, ports, borders, and west of Denver CO. Freight includes dry van and reefer loads, mostly contracted, on major highways, with no dedicated routes.

Rider & Canine Policies

One passenger 12 years or older allowed from day one. Pet policy allows 2 small or 1 large dog with a $500 fee, paid off via weekly deductions. No feline, reptile, or bird policies available.
