Job summary

Markel Group seeks a Claims Supervisor to oversee daily claims processing and adjusting activities. The role involves guiding staff, interpreting policy coverage, and resolving high‑level client inquiries with accuracy and timeliness.

Ideal candidates will have a P&C Adjuster License, 3–5 years of supervisory experience, and strong analytical and communication skills. US work authorization is required, with a path to licensing within 90 days.

• Experience supervising/leading staff (3–5 years).
• Requires P&C Adjuster License or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of staff engaged in claims processing and adjusting.
• Assist manager in planning and distributing claims workflow.
• Provide support and guidance on account insurance coverage and resolve escalated complaints.
• Provide account analysis, audits, and performance reporting.
• Assist in hiring, training, and staff development.
