Responsibilities

• Examine claim forms and other records to determine appropriate insurance coverage
• Interpret account insurance coverage in order to settle claim
• Analyze information obtained by investigation and report findings to evaluate claims and determine coverage
• Assess the extent of the loss or liability
• Ensure drafts are issued as claim payments are prepared and liability releases for adjusted claims are obtained
• Settle claims within prescribed limits of authority
• Responsible for complying with state laws, policies and company procedures
• Other duties as assigned or required
