Markel Group in Texas is seeking a skilled insurance claims supervisor to lead a team of staff, set performance standards and monitor outcomes while collaborating with management to plan and distribute workflow.

The role requires knowledge of claims adjusting, exceptional communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. You will mentor staff, ensure accurate account analysis, and drive process improvements within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor's degree preferred 3-5 years supervisory/management experience
• P&C Adjuster License
• You must have ability to secure all required state licensing within the first 90 days of employment
• US Work Authorization required
• Markel does not provide visa sponsorship for this position, now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily staff activities and monitor performance
• Assist in planning and distributing claims workflow
• Assist staff in interpreting account insurance coverage to settle claims
• Resolve escalated client complaints and answer inquiries
• Provide account analysis and audits
• Help establish service benchmarks and report performance metrics
• Research and propose process improvements
• Assist manager with hiring, training and staff development
• Recommend projects to improve processes and products
• Deliver internal training on claims processes
