Job summary

Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation is seeking a dynamic Specification Business Development Manager to promote Siteworks trench drain solutions to civil, plumbing, mechanical, and site development engineers across the US. Your objective is to establish Siteworks as a design basis in engineering specifications and drive market penetration.

Territory covers the South Central region; travel up to 75%. You will lead technical presentations, lunch-and-learns, and seminars, collaborating with reps

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in specification business development within the plumbing industry.
• Ability to influence engineering specification and driving product adoption.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate complex product information.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage with key civil, plumbing, mechanical, and site engineers across the US.
• Build and maintain relationships with engineers and design professionals to influence product selection.
• Educate engineers on Siteworks features and applications, including trench and interceptors.
• Deliver presentations, lunch-and-learns, and seminars to drive awareness and preference.
• Position Siteworks as the basis of design in project specifications for various applications.
• Review drawings to identify opportunities for product substitutions.
• Collaborate with manufacturers' reps and sales teams to maximize market penetration.
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and partners.
• Document interactions and manage project opportunities in the CRM.
• Track market trends and provide feedback to product management.
