Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year education toward a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or similar.
• At least 1 summer of construction work experience preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Reviews plans and specs to determine project scope.
• Reviews jobsites before bidding to develop estimates.
• Performs takeoffs using software and hand calculations.
• Calculates quantities for materials and movement.
• Solicits quotes from subcontractors for bids with DBE/MBE considerations.
