Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Lead Engineer to drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations. You will apply data-driven CI, engineering methods, and Lean tools to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth while interfacing with multiple levels of the organization.

Responsibilities include leading high-impact CI projects, coordinating automation efforts, and delivering tangible performance improvements. Strong data analytics and cross-functional leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain and 7+ years in warehousing, transportation, or manufacturing.
• Master’s degree (Industrial Engineering, MBA) with 5+ years experience; MBA requires undergrad in Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive continuous improvement projects across the operation.
• Apply data analytics and Lean methods to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth.
• Coach and mentor CI resources; facilitate Kaizen events and Value Stream Mapping.
