Job summary

PerkinElmer is seeking a Sales Specialist Chromatography to drive growth of Chromatography product lines within the Analytical Solutions Group. This field-based role covers IL, MN, WI and MO, with ~50% overnight travel and full support from regional teams.

The ideal candidate has direct Chromatography experience (LC/GC/HPLC), strong account management skills, and the ability to present technical solutions to customers. Compensation includes base salary plus commission and company vehicle.

Qualifications

Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Chemistry (or related field).
Must have direct experience with Chromatography (LC / GC / HPLC).
Must be able to travel 50% (vehicle provided).
Thorough understanding of business factors affecting account profitability and competitive status as well as laboratory operations.
Experience with analytical laboratory software and instruments is desirable.

Responsibilities

Grow Sales Volume. Execute a sales plan aligning with region and company objectives; manage current customers and identify new accounts; maintain funnel and forecasts using CRM and other tools.
Cultivate partnerships with customers and suppliers; provide consultative solutions leveraging chromatography knowledge and market dynamics.
Collaborate with regional sales, service teams, and product specialists to ensure high customer service levels and support planned events throughout the year.
