Step Up is seeking a visionary Chief Revenue Officer to lead our revenue strategy and diversify funding sources. This remote-first leadership role drives growth from a $4 million budget to $6 million by 2030, overseeing giving, corporate philanthropy, events, and public funding while expanding legacy giving and DAF programs.

The CRO will partner with the CEO and Board, build a high-impact revenue team, and pursue local and state funding with KPIs, transparency, and bold donor engagement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership in nonprofit fundraising or revenue generation.
• Track record closing six- and seven-figure gifts and multi-year commitments.
• Experience scaling organizational revenue and building fundraising programs.
• Deep knowledge of Corporate, Foundations, Individual, and Events fundraising pillars.
• Proven ability to secure local/state/federal government funding.
• Experience building teams and driving revenue targets.
• Exceptional communication and storytelling to support Step Up’s mission.
• High emotional intelligence with strategic execution.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute a multi-year revenue growth strategy to reach $6M by 2030.
• Oversee fundraising portfolio across Individual Giving, Corporate Philanthropy, Events, Government Funding, and Grants.
• Lead executive leadership collaboration with CEO and Board to foster philanthropy and brand prominence.
• Grow six- to seven-figure commitments from corporate partnerships.
• Establish KPIs, forecasting, and reporting for revenue activities.
• Expand into new revenue streams and endowment/DAF strategies.
• Cultivate relationships with high-net-worth individuals and funders.
• Ensure compliance on grants and government funding.
• Lead a revenue team with mentorship and scalable infrastructure.
• Represent Step Up at events and align regions to fund locally.
