Job summary

CesiumAstro, a developer of out-of-the-box communications for satellites and space platforms, seeks a Vice President of Business Development (Commercial) to lead marketing, sales, and growth strategy. You will build customer relationships across government and commercial sectors, identify opportunities, and guide strategic planning to grow revenue.

The role requires extensive aerospace sales experience, strong leadership, and exceptional communication skills.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership in revenue, business development, or sales leadership.
• Deep knowledge of market analytics and technology planning for commercialization.
• Experience leading government or DoD business opportunities and proposals.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic business plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop and continually update market potential and trends for commercial and DoD aerospace markets.
• Identify opportunities, respond to RFIs and RFPs, and engage with customers.
• Interface with engineering and product teams to articulate market gaps and demands.
• Help shape strategic and R&D roadmaps and drive top-line revenue growth.
