Job summary

Rubrik is seeking a Channel Sales Engineer to cover key regional and national partners in the Southeast US. You will evangelize and position Rubrik's hyper-converged hybrid cloud data management platform for mid-market and small business customers, translating complex tech into practical business value.

The role combines pre-sales leadership with hands-on demonstrations, technical expertise, and collaboration with the account team to close opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of sales engineering experience in software or data center environments.
• Strong drive, energy, and a hands-on, can-do attitude.
• Broad technical knowledge in cyber security, cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery, and data analytics.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a proactive, result-oriented mindset.
• Comfortable moving quickly in a fast-paced environment and engaging with executive customers (CxO).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to partners and internal teams during pre-sales activities.
• Assist in analysis, design and development of integrated technology solutions.
• Act as technical expert and consultant to partners, including demonstrations and presentations.
• Serve as trusted advisor to partners and internal stakeholders on technical issues.
• Build relationships with account teams and partners to drive sales objectives and mobilize corporate resources.
• Lead technical sales calls and qualify opportunities based on customer requirements and funding.
