Rubrik is seeking a Sales Engineer in the United States to provide technical leadership for pre‑sales opportunities in the assigned market. You will analyze, design and develop fully integrated technology solutions, and present Rubrik’s offerings to customer technical staff and leadership.

Bring 5+ years in sales engineering, a hands-on approach, and deep knowledge of cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery, plus data analytics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales engineering experience and a proven track record.
• Strong hands-on approach with a customer-first mindset.
• Breadth of knowledge in cloud data management, backup/disaster recovery and data analytics.
• Entrepreneurial, resourceful and capable of getting things done.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to customers and internal staff for pre‑sales activities in the assigned market.
• Assist in analysis, design and development of integrated technology solutions.
• Demonstrate subject matter expertise on Rubrik products, architectures, and storage offerings in the SAN space.
• Act as technical expert to develop solutions meeting customer tech and business requirements.
• Make technical and sales presentations to customer staff and senior management.
• Serve as trusted technology advisor to customers and internal resources.
• Build relationships with account teams, partners and customers to support sales objectives.
• Lead technical sales calls and qualify opportunities by requirements, competition and funding.
