Job summary

Paychex in Burlington, VT is seeking an early-career sales professional to join our Channel Sales team. You’ll generate new business through referral partners, build relationships with bankers, and drive new logos while selling a full suite of payroll, HR, benefits, and compliance solutions.

You’ll handle high-volume activity and own the process from prospecting to closing, with a fast-paced 1–2 week cycle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of experience in relevant sales/marketing role.
• Early-career sales with 1-5 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through referral partners and outbound outreach.
• Build relationships with bankers and existing clients to drive new logos.
• Execute high-volume daily activity to build pipeline.
• Sell payroll, HR, benefits, retirement, and compliance solutions.
• Manage a fast-paced sales cycle (1–2 weeks) with small business owners.
• Own the full process—from prospecting to closing deals.
