Job summary

Paychex is seeking an early-career sales professional to join our Channel Sales team in Asheville, NC. You will generate new business via referral partners and outbound efforts, while building relationships with CPAs and existing clients to win new logos.

Expect high-volume daily activity, a fast sales cycle, and ownership of the end-to-end process—from prospecting to closing deals—selling payroll, HR, benefits, retirement, and compliance solutions.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in relevant sales/marketing role.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through referral partners and outbound outreach.
• Build relationships with CPAs and existing clients to drive new logos.
• Execute high-volume daily activity (calls, follow-ups, and partner touchpoints) to build pipeline.
• Sell a full suite of solutions: payroll, HR, benefits, retirement, and compliance.
• Manage a fast-paced sales cycle (1–2 weeks) with small business owners.
• Own the full process—from prospecting to closing deals.
