Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. invites a Partner Solutions Engineer II to join our North America Global Channels team.

You will develop trusted relationships with partners' sales and technical leaders, enable channel partners to resell Akamai's products, and tailor resources to drive partner-sourced opportunities. You will bring 5+ years of relevant experience, a CS/Engineering/MIS bachelor's degree, and the ability to present technical topics to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

Have 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, MIS, related field or its equivalent.
Experience working in a customer facing technical channel sales or presales.
Demonstrate understanding of the internet and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, HTML, SSL).
Customer advocate with ability to present technical topics to diverse audiences.
Team player who can collaborate, prioritize and adapt in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

Develop trusted relationships with partners' sales and technical leaders.
Support channel sales to grow topline revenue through national and regional partners.
Enable focused partners to resell and service Akamai's products.
Customize resources to drive partner sourced opportunities and position Akamai's differentiations.
